The rules in 3 sentences
No mining crypto, no phishing, no being a jerk.
Acceptable Use Policy
No mining crypto
Cryptocurrency mining that consumes shared host resources beyond your plan is prohibited. It degrades neighbours and violates the spirit of fair use.
No phishing
Phishing, credential harvesting, malware distribution, and any form of fraud or abuse targeting third parties are strictly prohibited.
No being a jerk
No spam, no harassment, no launching attacks from our network. If your workload harms others or our infrastructure, it goes.
In full, the following are prohibited:
- No cryptocurrency mining that exceeds your plan’s resource allocation.
- No phishing, credential harvesting, or distribution of malware.
- No spam, email bombing, or unsolicited mass messaging.
- No network attacks launched from our infrastructure (scanning, exploits, DDoS).
- No hosting of unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
- No circumventing rate limits, security controls, or acceptable-use boundaries.
- No resale of service without explicit written authorisation.
Uptime & SLA
99.9% Uptime. If we miss it, you don't ask — we pay.
We commit to 99.9% uptime every calendar month. If we fall short, you get a 10% service credit for every qualifying incident (TBC — credit figure requires finance approval), applied to your next invoice. No support ticket required.
What counts as downtime: Complete unavailability as measured by external monitoring from ≥2 geographic probes. Packet loss above TBC% or latency exceeding TBC ms does not count as downtime unless it causes complete unavailability. Credit cap: 100% of monthly fee per calendar month. Per incident: A single root-cause event counts as one incident, even if it triggers multiple monitoring alerts.
Exclusions: Scheduled maintenance (announced ≥72h ahead), your own misconfigurations, upstream network events outside our racks, force majeure (natural disasters, power grid failures, DDoS attacks exceeding our mitigation capacity), and outages caused by third-party software you install.
Dispute resolution:Juroot's monitoring data is the authoritative source for SLA calculations. If you believe an outage was unreported, open a ticket with evidence (your own monitoring logs) within 7 calendar days of the suspected incident.
Cancellation & refunds
Cancel: Cancel from your dashboard — no phone call, no retention script. Your server runs to the end of your paid period. Reactivation is one click.
Refund: 14-day money-back guarantee. Covers server fees only. Not third-party licenses or domain registrations. Email billing@juroot.com within 14 days of your first invoice and the money's back within 5 business days.
Non-payment grace period: TBC — days before suspension/deletion.
Data deletion:TBC — timeline after cancellation (e.g., “Data is securely erased within X days of cancellation. Off-box backups are your responsibility.”)
IP retention: IP addresses are not portable — you cannot take your Juroot IPv4 to another provider.
Governing law: TBC — jurisdiction must be specified.
